James Woods rants against Obama's race speech

James Woods is pretty angry for a middle-aged guy dating a 20-year-old. Specifically, he's pissed at the president. The actor reacted angrily to Obama's speech about race on Friday, and its focus on black teenagers — rather than "ALL youth of every heritage in this country." Responding to the president's admission that he's heard the sound of car doors locking as he passed by white people, Woods unleashed a flurry of tweets, including: "The only reason people lock their car doors when Obama walks by is they are afraid he'll tax them to death." [Source]

Finally a movie star says something against Obama.  The press says he's ranting.  The press died in 2008.  I love to read the comments people make after reading articles.

Here's a few I liked:

At 12% of the population in the USA, and 60% of our prison population, there is a sound reason to carry a firearm, and lock your car door when black youths approach. Jessie Jackson, years ago, told the story of him walking in a dark urban neighborhood, and a group of teenagers were behind him, he said he was in fear for his safety, but then was relieved, when he turned, and saw they were white. A true story.

Obama doesn't have the same background as most blacks here in America.  What qualifies him to make comments like he did?  Obama is trippin'!!!

I can't believe that the president of the United States would actually go on the record and fuel the racism fire  by making people think that only blacks or hispanics are being discriminated against in this country. This is what keeps racism alive.

Trayvon violated Zimmerman’s civil rights and that's why he got shot.

Obuma comment about being Trayvon 35 years ago is totally racist and what would he know about being poor he grew up with a sliver spoon in his mouth.  Maybe he should have been Trayvon and he wouldn't be president today and ruining our country by taking away the ethical roots this country was established from.  If Zimmerman is a white Hispanic then what should we call Obuma a white black, white African, or a white muslim??????????

As President of the United States, his sworn duty is to uphold the Constitution, not to seek to divide the nation by racial hatred.   It is about time that the so-called Afro--American leaders stopped playing the "RACE CARD"  and follow Bill Cosby's advice to improve their status through education and hard work, rather than ask for it to handed to them.  Slavery has been ended for more than 150 years and the Civil Rights bill was passed over 50 years ago.  The "rule of law" states that we are all entitled to due process, Zimmerman has had his and a jury was not convinced of his guilt, nor that race was a factor in the incident.  It's time to move on.  Remember Reginald Denning (sp.), who beaten severely by Afro-Americans during a race riot, where were the protestors for his lack of justice????????????

I enjoyed the tax comment James Woods. In honesty... rough neighborhood, yes, anyone walking by will hear the locks. It just so happens, urban life usually includes a large percentage of minority life... Making the minority the majority. Mr President... the locks were for a different reason years ago. Today... the violence that anyone seems to be capable of... smart people will activate the locks with no discrimination besides "we're in here, "they," purple, orange or blue, are out there." What I fear more is the fact I can't grieve with the parents who lost their son... be sure our justice and freedom is in check... because of your quote, "I could have been Trayvon"  segregated communities from our president who is supposed to speak to all of us...spoke to one group and  ignited the flame that I thought "CHANGE" was going to put out.

I agree 100%. Obama needs to talk about all people, not hold up black people as poor downtrodden,mistreated citizens. He is so racist, it's unbelievable. He should never have said a word about the Zimmerman verdict. It's none of his business to demean our legal system by acting like the jurors were wrong.  Way to go James Wood...Obama is hired by us citizens, not our King, even if he thinks he is.

I still love the comment about a Hispanic man, shooting a black man, and it's the white guys fault! priceless! The media should disclose all the facts instead of tainting the story to meet somebodies agenda!

Kudos to James Woods as one of the practically invisible Hollywood crowd that has the guts to speak up against the usual biased liberals (progressives).  I wrote a letter to the White House expressing the exact sentiments of trying to guide all our youth in the right direction.....get away from the idolation of gangsta rap and crap....concentrate on education and going to school to prepare for a real life. Obama rarely expresses his concern of black on black crime or black on white crime.  He has tunnel vision for certain    issues....too bad one of them wasn't our economy, gas prices, etc.  He is a community organizer at heart and way over his head as president ....3 more delightful years of hypocrisy!
